Our goal is to provide state of the art Fetal and Pediatric Cardiology care and also educate the parents, patients and health care professionals. This is an integral element of patient care and it is important to use this information in conjunction with input from your Pediatric Cardiologist.
The IEPC team is specialized in areas of general pediatric cardiology, fetal cardiology, exercise physiology, dyslipidemia, drug induced myocardial toxicity, and dysautonomia. We are very dedicated to patient education and consider it as one of the very important aspects of patient care.
Over the last two decades, pediatric cardiac care has made great leaps in treating patients with complex and severe cardiac conditions. The future holds even greater promises with advancements in molecular genetics, fetal intervention and tissue engineering.
We specialize in evaluating and treating a range of conditions, including:
- Heart Murmurs, Chest pain, Palpitations
- Simple & Complex Congenital Heart Disease

Dr. Hani Ghawi is the founder and Medical Director of the Inland Empire Pediatric Cardiology and an attending physician at Providence St. Mary Medical Center, Desert Valley Hospital, San Bernardino Medical Center, Community Hospital of San Bernadino, and San Antonio Reginal Hospital in Upland. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics and he is a Fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Pediatrics, FAAP, Arab Board of Pediatrics, and a Fellow of the Society for Echocardiogram, FASE.
